How To Sign Up for the Open Squash Winter Bronze (and other tournaments):
Scroll down the list of Junior Bronze tournaments until you reach the Open Squash Winter Bronze (Dec. 10) and click on it to sign up.
How To Choose the Correct Age Group:
The US Squash junior division / draws are divided into Boys and Girls and age groups separated by two years.
GU11 (Girls 9 & 10) – BU11 (Boys 9 & 10)
GU13 (Girls 11 & 12) – BU13 (Boys 11 & 12)
GU15 (Girls 13 & 14) – BU15 (Boys 13 & 14)
GU17 (Girls 15 & 16) – BU17 (Boys 15 & 16)
GU19 (Girls 17 & 18) – BU19 (Boys 17 & 18)
U13 means Boys Under 13 years old. This division is for Boys who are 11 years old or 12 years old. If your boy is 13 years old then he would sign up for the BU15 (Boys 13 and 14 years old).
If you have a girl who is 9 she would be in the GU11 division.
IMPORTANT: Your child needs to be the appropriate age of the division signed up for the specific date of that squash tournament. For example, if they are 14 years old on the first day of a two day tournament and then have a birthday on the second day they would have to sign up for the higher age division.
