The concept of the Club Ladder is a straightforward, structured system allowing members of our community to challenge one another in a bid to improve their in-club standings and of course, bragging rights. Here are the essentials you need to get started:
- Two Separate Ladders: We've established distinct ladders for Juniors and Adults, alongside ladders categorized by location. This ensures everyone has a fair and exciting competition.
- Cross-Category Challenges: For our ambitious Juniors desiring an extra layer of challenge, you have the opportunity to participate in the Adult ladder.
Joining the Club Ladder couldn’t be easier:
- Scan the QR Code at Open Squash: Find the Club Ladder boards at our club locations. A quick scan of the QR codes will guide you through the sign-up process, ensuring you’re registering at your preferred location.
- It’s Free Through ClubLocker! Yes, you read that right – participation in the Community Squash Ladders is completely free, with all organization and ranking monitoring facilitated through ClubLocker, U.S. Squash’s rating-tracking system.
- Pick Up Your Tag: Once registered, visit our Front Desk to collect your tag. This is your physical representation on the ladder.
- Log Your Matches: After each game, make sure to log your matches into ClubLocker. This allows our staff to keep the rankings accurate and up-to-date.
Here’s how you can scale the ladder:
- Challenging Opponents: Flex your ambition by challenging players up to three spots above you on the ladder.
- Challenge Expiry: Issued a challenge that isn’t accepted within 10 days? Claim victory by default.
- Stay Active: You’re allowed to have up to two active challenges at a time and can accept the same.
