At Open Squash, a 501c3 non-profit, we’re committed to making the sport of squash accessible and affordable to everyone, no matter their income or background. We’ve built and now operate two state-of-the-art community squash centers in New York City, equipped with 13 courts and a growing membership, where over 20% of our members receive income-based discounts.
Our facilities offer recreational play alongside world-class coaching, with a wide range of programs, including clinics, leagues, lessons, and tournaments designed to help players of all skill levels reach their full potential. For juniors, we offer a year-round Junior Academy and summer camps, serving everyone from beginners to high-performance athletes.
A core element of our mission is providing opportunities for underserved low-income youth. Through partnerships with local schools and leading after-school organizations, we run Junior Scholarship Programs that introduce squash—and the fun, fitness, and sense of community it brings—to low-income juniors. We also provide ongoing support for those who want to pursue the sport more seriously.
We’re proud to support an ongoing women’s squash initiative aimed at increasing female participation in the sport and building a more inclusive squash community.
