Amr Khalifa is a name that resonates deeply within the squash world. As a player, Amr achieved remarkable success, winning the World Junior Championship in 2010 in both the Individual and Team events. His college career in the US was equally impressive, where he won the US College National Individual Championship in 2014, defeating a young Ali Farag. Amr also earned the prestigious Skillman Award for sportsmanship. He later went on to become a top 50 PSA player, securing nine titles and earning praise from legendary Trinity coach Paul Assaiante, who described him as having "magical hands, moves like a cat, and reads the game really well."

Beyond his playing achievements, Amr has built an outstanding coaching career. As the Egyptian National Junior Coach, he has played a vital role in developing the current generation of top Egyptian juniors. He is currently the Squash Director at the Maadi Club in Cairo and the founder of S Unit, where he coaches elite juniors and PSA players, including former PSA World No. 3 Omar Mosaad, World No. 11 Youssef Soliman, and World No. 19 Melissa Alves.

Amr’s deep understanding of the Egyptian game, combined with his experience playing and studying in the US, allows him to uniquely bridge the best aspects of both worlds. We are thrilled to have him at Open Squash, where he brings his exceptional talents and expertise to our junior programs, primarily at FiDi but also across our other locations. Amr’s coaching approach is grounded in his commitment to player development, and his passion for the game makes him an invaluable asset to our squash community.
