Maddy, born and raised in New York City's Lower East Side, has always been passionate about sports and community. She grew up playing volleyball and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health from SUNY Cortland. Maddy discovered squash through Open Squash in 2022, where she started as a front desk Member Services Associate. Her dedication quickly earned her a promotion to Junior Coordinator and Administrator for Open Squash's Junior Program. Committed to making squash accessible to all, Maddy enjoys introducing newcomers to the sport, humorously recalling how she once thought squash was just a vegetable.a
