Ona Prokes 🇺🇸

Born and raised in New York City, Ona discovered her love for squash at CityView Racquet Club, where her parents manage and operate the Pro Shop. She competed in the US Junior Circuit, steadily climbing the rankings to ultimately achieve the #1 position in the Girls Under 17 category. Recruited by Drexel University Head Coach John White, Ona began her collegiate career in Philadelphia in 2017, playing on the Varsity Women's Squash team for four years and serving as captain during her senior year.

After graduating, Ona combined her passion for squash with her operational expertise and marketing passion, joining US Squash to contribute to the launch of the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in 2021.

Ona's expertise spans various areas, from crafting compelling marketing strategies to delivering impactful results for non-profit organizations. Having led major initiatives at Open Squash, Ona played a key role in organizing the inaugural Open Squash Classic PSA Bronze Event and promoting community programs like the Junior Academy. 

With a profound love for the sport and a commitment to player engagement, Ona is dedicated to advancing the game and building a vibrant, inclusive squash community.
