We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to making squash accessible and affordable for everyone, no matter their background or income. We operate two vibrant community squash centers in New York City—one next to Bryant Park and one in the Financial District (FiDi)—featuring a combined total of 13 state-of-the-art courts.

Our facilities offer something for every squash player, from clinics, leagues, and lessons to tournaments designed for all skill levels. For Juniors, we provide a year-round Junior Academy and Summer Camps that serve beginners and competitive athletes alike. A core part of our mission is creating opportunities for underserved youth through partnerships with schools and after-school programs, while also championing initiatives that increase female participation in squash to foster a more inclusive and diverse community.

Our mission is simple: we believe squash should be accessible to all.

No, anyone can become a member, book a court, or tour anytime we're open! Courts are $90/45-min for non-members.

However, we do encourage people to join our community. We offer a free first session to anyone new to Open Squash and non-member rates. For more specific details or any other information, please refer to the member's terms section on Open Squash’s website or reach out directly to our team.

We stand by the principle that squash is for everyone. We welcome individuals of all ages and skill levels to participate in our squash programs and use our facilities.

Monthly membership discounts are available, including income-based discounts. If your financial situation improves, you are required to notify the center within 30 days to reassess your eligibility for such discounts.

Memberships are individual, but we provides discounts on subsequent individual memberships within the same family living at the same address.

Only those with month to month memberships are able to cancel, otherwise annual memberships can be cancelled  by providing written notice at least 30 days before your annual anniversary date. Early termination for annual memberships is subject to the sole discretion of Open Squash and may be allowed in cases like relocation or financial hardship.
