How it works
Squash, as a team sport
The NSL turns squash into a team game: a running clock, substitutions, power plays and a table. Fast, loud, and over in about 70 minutes.
013 v 3
Three players a side, three alternates on the bench — any of them can come on.
02Three periods
20, 20 and 30 minutes on a running clock. Periods one and two are worth a point each; the third is worth two.
03Power plays
Two minutes where only the attacking team serves and scores — one in each of the first two periods, two in the last.
04Sudden death
Level after three periods? A shootout: one rally each, in lineup order, first team to three.
Last season the Queens beat Seattle Freeze 3–1 in the semifinal and reached the NSL Finals. This year they’re going for the crown.
